Cosmic Photo redux…

I was rather pleased with the results of today’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, especially since I used very little in the way of actual effects to produce the pictures that I posted, just a bit of tweaking.

However, due to my inability to leave a good image un-mucked about with, I’d now like to present my Cosmic Photo redux; a foil, if you will, to the six crinkly offerings from this morning.

Hold onto your eyeballs…

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

Today’s metallic mixture on the Cosmic Photo Challenge…

Diary of an Internet Nobody.(Archive)

Welcome to metallic Monday on K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

I chose the theme for this week’s challenge on Friday and it was simply this; Metal.

Whatever metallic materials you wish to use for your photographic subject are acceptable; shiny, rusty, intricate, industrial, sculpted, molten, anything you like, as long as it’s metal.

I went the lightweight route, using aluminum foil in varying stages of scrunchiness, under different light sources and with a selection of coloured surfaces to reflect from, to create these artistic images.

K’lee’s photo for today can now be foundHERE.

Now, it’s your turn.

Surf ‘n’ turf…

It was actually proper summer weather for a change at the weekend, so Audrey and I got out and about in the sunshine, both at Rock Park in Barnstaple and on Woolacombe beach.

Here are some moments captured on our travels, including the original shots that made up this week’s Cosmic Photo Challenge post.

And here, for no reason except that I like it, is B.A. Robertson and the little heard (I suspect) “b side the c side”, from, unsurprisingly, the b side of his biggest hit, Bang Bang

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

Today’s summery entry in the photo challenge.

(More sun soaked shots from the weekend on the way)

Diary of an Internet Nobody.(Archive)

It’s time to get summery with K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, today prompted by K’lee and his simple suggestion that we use Three, or The three faces of summerfor our inspiration.

Well, Audrey and I went down to the park on Saturday morning and, since she likes being featured on the blog, I thought I’d edit together three shots of her enjoying the sunshine, whilst she was scooting and swinging.

You can findK’lee’s photos here.

I hope you all had a similarly summery weekend, now let’s see what photographic evidence you have for us…
