K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

Get on board with K’lee and I, as we get photographically cosmic, every Monday…

img_20160318_210825-picsay.jpgHello there.

Monday again, so time for the weekly photographic experimentation session that is K’lee an Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

This week I’m going for a somewhat less abstract offering than my last one, although I have still kept a bit of magic in reserve.

Audrey has been very poorly for the last week or so, with a really nasty cold/cough/chest infection that has kept her off school since last Wednesday. I’m sure she hasn’t got bored of watching endless Scooby Doo DVDs just yet, but I thought she might appreciate a like-minded playmate to keep her entertained, so here’s something I put together from our graveyard visit a couple of weeks ago…

K’lee already has his contribution posted, which you can see at this link, so pop over and check it out.

Next week, we shall be officially starting our themed photos, so watch out for a reminder…

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

Ok, time to join up once more with K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

Diary of an Internet Nobody.

It’s Monday, so it must be Cosmic Photo Challenge day.

Last week we had our first outside contribution to the feature (from Linda G Hill) and I’m hoping that as time goes on, more of you will feel the urge to share your creative photographic experiments with us, but for now, let’s get to today’s offering.

If you’ve been following this new thread at all, you’ll already be aware that, while K’lee has tended to go with enhancing his beautiful pictures with subtle yet striking filters and editing techniques, I often lean towards abstract and surreal compositions, which are as far from the original image as I can get.

Today is no different, as I have transformed this photo of a shrub in our garden (pieris japonica, for all you horticulture vultures)

…into this gloriously colourful, organic kaleidoscope pattern:

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

The fourth of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge posts brings you an enigmatic church tower, in amongst some eldritch trees…

Another composite collage for today’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, repurposing 3 images; a couple of trees and a church, to make something I’m calling The Dark Tower, see what you think…

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

I thought I’d go for a touch of surrealism for this week’s challenge, I hope you like it…

I’ve just about got time to fit in this week’s photo, before I get back to my packed schedule (the A-Z challenge continues later) so without further ado, here’s an odd little collage, which for obvious reasons is called “Duck tunnel”
